Testimonials

I have known Karen White professionally for over five years working alongside one another in hospice nursing and care management. She is a strong advocate for her patients, sifting through a wealth of pertinent written and verbal information to determine the most crucial elements. Away from direct patient care, I have seen Karen pursue her ongoing education with admirable interest and zeal. She always looks to learn more, to be ahead of the learning curve, to stay engaged and relevant. Karen's attention to detail, her interpersonal communication skills, and her determined follow-through make her an asset to her patients and her team. She is a hard worker, organized, ethical, and dependable. She is easy to work with and is an asset in health care.

Karen White is truly a gift from God. Karen was the Minister of Health and Wellness at my church and fulfilled that mission with compassion, knowledge, and a high degree of professionalism. I was experiencing a great deal of turmoil from multiple sources and my faith was what got me through it. I vividly remember being at the end of my ability to cope. I called the church office to ask for help. Karen called me and listened – to a lot of pent-up anger, concern, fear, and angst. She listened some more. We prayed and she helped me process what I could control and what I needed to let God take control of. Karen gave me hope that I could handle this and that I was not alone on this walk. Her counseling was what got me through a very difficult period of my life. She approached the situation with such calmness but I learned that it was possible because she fused her deep faith with knowledge and experience from a whole-person health perspective as a nurse and Diaconal Minister. Karen maintained a high degree of confidentiality yet seemed to be there whenever I needed reassurance. I am forever grateful for the gift of Karen White!

My wife and I attended the End-of-Life Medical Decisions Seminar offered at your library.  We wanted to let you know that the seminar was extremely valuable to us.  We would encourage you to repeat that seminar as it would be of great value to people of all ages.  We sent some of the information to friends and they found it so helpful, even though they have already gone through the end-of-life process, but had concerns that they may have missed something.  They now want to try to have a similar seminar presented near them.  How did you find such a good presenter? Her discussion format, rather than lecture, was extremely beneficial.
